Zach began his entertainment career in 1994 as the lighting designer for Grammy® award-winning artists All-4-One on their world-wide "I Swear" tour. He later founded one of the most successful web and internet development companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, GNet, which was later acquired by Expanets Corporation.
Always looking for a creative outlet, Zach founded Imaginative Entertainment and relocated from Philadelphia to the hotbed of 90's pop music, Orlando. He built a cutting-edge ProTools recording studio, MindBlower Labs, and cranked out hits for up and coming recording artists.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Zach returned to the Philadelphia region and helped produce one of the hottest halloween theme parks in the country, Shocktoberfest (ranked 4th in the USA, to be exact). He designed and developed software that drives the animatronic special effects throughout the park - along with never-before-seen technology that allows park visitors to trigger scares and effects from their mobile phones and hand-held devices.
Having accomplished so much in such little time, he was about to undertake his biggest challenge yet: conceive, write, and produce a feature film. Being an enthusiastic self-starter, he devoured dozens of books and courses. He reverse-engineered his favorite movies until he discovered what made them tick. His first screenplay, an elevated-horror / supernatural-thriller called THE VOID was written in under a year. His clear vision of the characters, the environment, and the story mechanics allowed him to reach the coveted "sale script" with the third draft.
He quickly signed with management - placed and won at a few film festivals - and is excited to announce THE VOID will hit the spec market in June 2009 - only one year from conception to market!
He's already on the next project, a suspense-thriller called SURFACE - if you're a fan of THE USUAL SUSPECTS and CSI - you'll love this one!
